In search of the perfect skeins!

If you read my very first article, you know that I started by creating a tablet case. And of course, I needed some yarn!

At first, I wanted something quick and efficient, so I ordered from Amazon… perfect for my impatience! (Yes, I'm not very patient when it comes to receiving my packages, haha ​​😅)

At that time, I didn't even know the difference between t-shirt yarn and trapilho yarn. For me, it was all just yarn, period.
I managed to make my pouch, I was so happy, and then… I thought: “Wow, I’m going to order loads of yarn!”

And that's where the real adventure began:

- I went all out with pastels, dark colors, every color imaginable

- Then, while walking around, I came across some t-shirt yarn at Cultura: not the same material at all. Curious, I bought some to try.

- I also found balls of yarn of the same style as those from Cultura but at Action, Noz, or even on specialized sites like Hooked.

And then… I fell in love with the trapilho yarn: thicker, more durable and a really pretty result.
Little by little, I gave up on Amazon yarn: clearly not my style, too thin, not high quality.

Then, in September, I found my ideal supplier with yarn of incredible QUALITY ! And guess what… it wasn’t trapilho, but real quality t-shirt yarn, not like the one from Amazon.

So I can't tell you if I prefer t-shirt yarn or trapilho yarn: depending on the supplier, the quality really changes everything, having found some very good skeins of trapilho yarn! But in any case, this t-shirt yarn... wow, I love it.
I tested and tested, and now I have finally found the perfect quality for my creations, the one I wish to offer you through every piece of Maison Soléia.
